Sponsorship Form

Homenetmen, Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, is a non-profit organization (IRS Section 501 (c) 3 Tax ID# 23 7062425) founded in 1918 with ninety chapters and 25,000 members on five continents worldwide. Homenetmen’s mission is to prepare exemplary and law abiding citizens by providing physical education, endowing the mind and soul with the finest spirit of sportsmanship, and developing an understanding of responsibility and honor as they strive for individual and collective excellence. In addition, Homenetmen exposes the youth to the wealth of the Armenian culture, history and heritage.

The Montebello chapter was established in 1974 with a few volunteer members. The organization has been an integral part of the Montebello community since 1974, providing services to hundreds of children, young adults, and seniors during the years. The most important part of our organization's function is provision of healthy and constructive programs for our youth through organized and supervised after-school and weekend activities in a family oriented environment. They are taught volunteerism, community and cultural values, citizenship, teamwork, receive leadership training, and are kept away from the strong negative influences facing our youth today.

We need your help to succeed in our mission. For a modest donation you or your company has the opportunity to be part of our mission by sponsoring our scout troop or sports teams. We have found scouting and sports to be a great way to teach teamwork, build self-esteem, and promote healthy minds and bodies in our youth, as well as a great way of building future leaders.

We offer three great ways for you to help us and provide exposure for your company to the thousands that interact with Homenetmen throughout the year.

1) Silver Sponsorship: A contribution of $250 will provide one troop or team with essential supplies and equipment for camping, training, etc…

2) Gold Sponsorship: A contribution of $500 will provide one troop with access to campgrounds or one team with complete uniforms for each player and coach or one team with access to training facilities.

3) Diamond Sponsorship: A contribution of $700 will provide one troop or team with supplies, equipment, access to campgrounds and uniforms for the entire year.

As a token of its appreciation, Homenetmen will provide each sponsor with the following:

• A plaque containing a photograph of your sponsored troop or team. Another will be placed in our hallway for one year.
• Display of your logo in the ad space on www.armeniancenter.com for one year.
• Space in our annual ad booklet highlighting our sponsors and exposing them to over 3000 households.

In addition, all sponsors will receive your troops or teams schedules and an invitation to Homenetmen Montebello Chapter’s annual appreciation night. To be part of this program, please complete the form in the back and return to address indicated with payment and copy of your logo.
